The XXXVII (37th) Panhellenic Conference on Solid State Physics & Materials Science will take place from 17 to 20 September 2023 at Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center, Thessaloniki, Greece.

The Conference is held on a rotational annual basis and this year it is organized by the School of Physics AUTh.

The Conference aims to bring together researchers and students working in the fields of Condensed Matter and Materials. It is traditionally attended by scientists coming from the fields of physics, chemistry, materials science, and materials engineering.

The 14th Hellenic Polymer Society International Conference (POLYCONF14)  will take place from 22 to 25 November 2023 at Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center, Thessaloniki, Greece.

The Hellenic Polymer Society Conference series, is a biannual event hosted in different cities in Greece and features plenary lectures, invited talks, oral and poster presentations from Academics, Researchers, and Industrial partners.

The second edition of Bordeaux Polymer Conference (BPC 2022) was held from June 13-16, 2022 in Bordeaux (Talence Campus), FRANCE.

The conference covered all topics in polymer science, including macromolecular/supramolecular engineering, sustainable/renewable polymers, self-assembly and interactions of polymers in life sciences and electronics. The 36th European Colloid & Interface Society Conference was held from 4th to 9th September 2022 in Chania, on the island of Crete, Greece.

Την Παρασκευή, 25 Νοεμβρίου 2022, πραγματοποιήθηκε επίσκεψη του Βουλευτή Επικρατείας, Καθηγητή κ. Χρήστου Ταραντίλη, Προέδρου της Επιτροπής Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας της Βουλής των Ελλήνων, στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών.

 

Στα πλαίσια της επίσκεψής του, ο κ. Ταραντίλης επισκέφτηκε το Τμήμα Χημείας και ενημερώθηκε για τις ερευνητικές δραστηριότητες του Εργαστηρίου Πολυμερών του Τομέα Χημικών Εφαρμογών, Χημικής Ανάλυσης και Χημείας Περιβάλλοντος του Τμήματος. Παρουσιάστηκαν οι πρόσφατες ερευνητικές δραστηριότητες του εργαστηρίου στους τομείς των Υλικών για Ενεργειακές Εφαρμογές, όπως Πολυμερικές Μεμβράνες για Κυψελίδες Καυσίμου, Συστήματα Ηλεκτρόλυσης για Παραγωγή Υδρογόνου, καθώς και την Ανάπτυξη Υλικών για θέματα Ποιότητας Ζωής, με κύρια παραδείγματα τα αντιμικροβιακά πολυμερή και τα πολυμερή που αξιοποιούνται για τη βελτίωση των ιδιοτήτων υφασμάτων και επικαλύψεων.

 

Ακολούθησε συζήτηση και ξενάγηση στους χώρους το Ερευνητικού Εργαστηρίου με την παρουσίαση προϊόντων που έχουν προκύψει από την ερευνητική δραστηριότητα του εργαστηρίου. Ο κ. Ταραντίλης συζήτησε με τα μέλη του Εργαστηρίου όπως και τους Μεταπτυχιακούς Φοιτητές και έδειξε ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για τις δραστηριότητες που του παρουσιάστηκαν.

 The 28th EUCHEM conference on Molten Salts & Ionic Liquids (Euchemsil2022) was held from 5th to 10th June 2022 in Patras, Greece.


After a successful and productive meeting in Lisbon in 2018, the EUCHEM conference on molten salts and ionic liquids (EUCHEMSIL2022) moved to Patras.
