Makrygianni Maria graduated from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras with a BSc in Chemistry in 2017. During 2016-17 she completed her research work on "Synthesis and characterization of alkaline anion exchange polymer electrolytes" for her diploma thesis, at the Polymers Laboratory in the Division of Applied, Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, University of Patras, supervised by Prof. V. Deimede. In October of 2018 she was enrolled as postgraduate student in a master program entitled "Chemistry and Materials Technology with Applications in Industry, Energy and the Environment" at the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, supervised by Professor V. Deimede.
