Dr. Zacharoula Iatridi (over 20 papers in international refereed journals) is a Research Scientist in Polymer Science. She has been a Post-Doctoral researcher at Greek Universities (University of Patras, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) as well as in the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT) in Patras. She studied Material Science at the University of Patras and obtained her Master and Doctorate awards in 2006 and 2009 respectively, in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Patras in Greece. Her research interests cover the area of water-soluble and amphiphilic copolymers. Specific areas of interest include: synthesis of comb-type copolymers, study of stimuli-responsive polymers, polymer-surfactant interactions, polymer-metal interactions and controlled release of biocides from polymer-metal hybrid materials, interactions of polymers with magnetic nanoparticles, synthesis of polymer hydrogels, synthesis of injectable hydrogels, drug release from polyampholyte self-assemblies, polymer-coated nano- or micro-particles (e.g. SiO2, Fe3O4 nanoparticles).

Andrikopoulos Konstantinos graduated from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras with a BSc in Chemistry in 2017. During 2014-15 he completed his research work on “Issues of Instrumental Chemical Analysis” for his diploma thesis, at the Instumental Chemical Analysis Laboratory of the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, supervised by Prof. D. Kalogianni. In April of 2017 he was enrolled as postgraduate student in a research program entitled "Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Advanced Polymeric and Nanostructured Materials" at the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, supervised by Professor J. Kallitsis. Since June,2019 he has been working on a PhD thesis in the doctoral program of the Department of Cheimstry, University o Patras, supervised by Professor J. K. Kallitsis.

Ioanna Tzoumani graduated from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras with a BSc in Chemistry in 2018. During 2017-18 she completed her research work on "Gold-Nanoparticle Conjugation to Oligonucleotides Study" for her diploma thesis, at the Instrumental Chemical Analysis Laboratory of the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, supervised by Prof. D. Kalogianni. In june of 2020 she gratuated from the master program entitled "Chemistry and Materials Technology of Chemistry, University of Patras, supervised by Professor J. Kallitsis. In September of 2020 she was enrolled as a PhD student at the Chemistry Deparment, University of Patras, under the supervision of Professor J. Kallitsis.

Loukia Tsimpouki, acquired her BSc in Chemistry in 2019 from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras. Eirini Stavrianou acquired her B.Sc. in Chemistry in March 2020, from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras. During 2017-2019 she worked on her diploma thesis on: “Effect of salicylate (active component of Aspirin) on hyaluronan-mediated migration of breast cancer cells” in the Biochemistry Laboratory of the Department of Chemistry, supervised by Professor S. Skandalis.
