Afroditi Moutsi, acquired her B.Sc in Chemistry in 2012 from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras. In the year 2009-10 she completed her diploma thesis, entitled  “Design and synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted imidazole analogs, derivatives of Ε-urocanic acid, with characteristic modifications of the carboxyl group, as potent antihypertensive agents” in the Department of Chemistry, supervised by Prof. J. Matsoukas. Since December of 2012 she is an M.Sc  student  in "Advanced Polymeric and Nanostructured Materials"  in the  Chemistry Department of the University of Patras.

Pavlou Christos, acquired his BSc in Materials Science in 2011 from the Department of Materials Science, University of Patras. In the year 2009-10 he completed his research work on on "Investigation of micro-machining operations and theoretical and experimental measurement on the wear of tungsten carbide micro-tools during micro-milling operation on ductile surfaces" in the Laboratories Of Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical and Engineering Department, University Of Patras, supervized by Prof. G. Chryssolouris. In 2012 he was enrolled as postgraduate student in a research program of the Interdepartmental Master's program on the Polymer Science and Technologies organised by the University of Patras under the co-ordination of the Department of Physics in the field of ''Blending of Nano-composites based on biodegradable polymers with inclusions of Organic Nano-particles".

Karamitrou Melpo, BSc in Material Science in 2009 from the Department of Material Science, University of Patras. She received her Master and PhD in 2012 and 2017 respectively, at the Chemistry Department, University of Patras, in "Advanced Polymeric and Nanostructured Materials" under the supervision of Associate Professor George Bokias. Currently she is a Trainee in Risk Assessment and Scientific Assistance Department (RASA) of European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in Parma, Italy.

Giannopoulos Panagiotis, Acquired his BSc in Chemistry in 2011 from the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras. In the year 2009-10 he completed his research work on "Novel broadly absorbing sensitizers with cyanovinylene 4-nitrophenyl segments and various anchoring groups: Synthesis and application for high efficiency dye-sensitized solar cells", in the Polymers Laboratory in the Division of Applied, Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, supervised by Prof. J. Mikrogiannidis. In 2011 he was enrolled as postgraduate student in a research program of the Chemistry Department of the University of Patras entitled "Advanced Polymeric and Nanostractured Materials".

Dr. Georgia Ch. Lainioti, Chemist, is a research scientist in the area of biocidal polymeric and hybrid materials. She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and has over 6 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her current research interests include the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles with improved barrier properties, the manufacturing of carbon nanotube/polymer nanocomposites with antibacterial activity as well as polymer compatibilization by reactive blending.

Dr. Andrea Voege (6 papers and book chapters) obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Bremen, Germany. Since 2010 she joined the Chemistry Department, University of Patras. She works as post doctoral researcher in the field of the design of polymer electrolytes for various applications (fuel cells, lithium batteries, and in future alkaline fuel cells).
